It sure made me nervous to drill those holes in my brand new trunk, but there already were marks inside the trunk showing where the holes needed to go, so the whole installation was pretty uneventfull. I am planning on doing a lot of camping this year, so I should be able to put the rack to a lot of use. On camping trips I plan on putting my sleeping bag on the rack and on day trips I plan on using it for my water jug.
