Ride With Tank

Skidplate said the page would be better if I started with the most recent date at the top of the page and I think she was right, so I have changed it around.  In the Past Rides section I have added pictures of the trip to Beaver Falls and Cabelas.  I have also added the 2005 Track Log.  I am downloading the GPS track log of all the weekend trips and then putting them on the map.  This will let us see where we have been and where we need to go.  Tanks Troops has also been updated, and I have a few more that need to be added that I will do in the next few days.  The future rides section has also been updated.

Nobody showed up for the Pymatuming ride, so Tank rode alone.  Even Skidplate was no where to be seen.  The ride to Cabelas has been moved to Sunday so more guys can go.  I will still be riding Saturday, just not sure where yet.  I have a new tire mounted up and I can’t wait to get it down to WV - the bike handles so nice now with the new tire!  I have added some new events to the events section:  The Sleazy Poker Run and Rodeo, Brittany Myers Poker Run, GWRRA Dairy Queen Ride, Hoagys Heroes Iron Butt Ride, Pig Roast, Run of the Lakes, and Night of the Sacrificial Insect.

It looks like the weather is going to stink tomorrow so we are moving the Pymatuming ride to this Sunday.  We are going to be leaving the Salt Springs/Rt. 80 McDonalds at Noon.  Skidplate picked up a 2005 Vulcan 750 Wednesday so now she thinks she is something special.

Sunday we went to the Mothers Day Poker Run and it was a great ride.  This was the 25th time the Buckaroos have put on this ride, and it is my favorite run of the year.  This was actually the first poker run I ever went on, I think the first year I went was in 1982 or 1983.  You can find pictures of the run here.  Looks like rain may be in the future for the coming weekend.  If the Pymatuming trip gets rained out again it will be banned from my ride list for life.  I picked up a lot of interesting fliers at the poker run which I hope to soon have posted on the web site.
